Yes. Each program includes built‑in onboard training videos that walk you through every tool and feature. You’ll also find additional training videos on the drop-downs for GreenScapes, Deco‑Con, and the Landscape Lighting Software.
Most customers learn everything they need from these videos.
If you still have questions, you can fill out a Support Ticket or call us, and we’ll be happy to help.
We recommend creating a simple folder structure on your computer to organize all your project images. This makes it easy to find your before‑and‑after photos and saved designs.
For step‑by‑step instructions on saving, sizing, and organizing your images, click the link below to view our Saving & Organizing Files Guide.

No. The program prints the entire image. If only part of the picture is printing, you may need to update your print settings.
To fix this:
You can also watch the Training Movie for a quick walkthrough.
If you don’t see two icons on your desktop, the Lighting Effects installer may not have finished, or you may be using an older install. This is easy to fix.
To reinstall Lighting Effects:
If the file isn’t there or the install doesn’t start, please fill out a Support Ticket, and we’ll send you the correct file and help install if needed.
Solution 1: This usually happens when Windows display settings or multiple monitors cause the thumbnail window to open off‑screen.
To fix this:
If you use multiple monitors, make sure your main display is set correctly in Windows Display Settings.
Please email the office to let us know which solution works for you.
Solution 2: The Texture Libraries in the Pattern Library command disappeared, which means they are not on the screen. It happens when the screen resolution changes or when you use two monitors.
Most customers never need to create a new texture library. On some computers, Windows security settings prevent the program from creating one manually. However, the auto‑installs and downloads we provide usually work without any issues.
If you’re unable to create a new texture library, please use the workaround in the document linked below:

Thinking about buying a new Windows computer? How do I reinstall GreenScapes?
Is your computer running slowly? Thinking about buying a new Windows computer? How do I install it on a new computer?
These are some of the most common questions we receive. Before you buy a new computer, here are a few simple steps to help keep your Windows system running smoothly.
🖥️ 1. Restart your computer regularly
Turn your computer off at night and restart it in the morning. Think of it like cleaning off your desk — restarting clears out temporary files and resets memory so everything runs faster.
🧹 2. Keep your computer updated
Windows updates help your system run better and prevent slowdowns. Go to Settings → Windows Update and install any available updates.
🗂️ 3. Clean up your storage
A nearly full hard drive can slow everything down. Delete old downloads, empty your Recycle Bin, and move large files (like photos and videos) to an external drive if needed.
🔌 4. Close programs you’re not using
Running too many programs at once can slow down your computer. Close browsers, email, or other software before starting your design work.
💻 5. Thinking about buying a new Windows computer?
If your computer is older or still running slowly after basic maintenance, upgrading may be the best option. We recommend:
This gives you the best performance for all three of our programs.
🔄 6. How to reinstall our programs on a new computer
If you purchase a new computer, be sure to move the install folder we created to a USB drive or the cloud. (The file with all the download files for installation) We are going to move a copy of the folder to the C:// drive on the new computer. The instructions should be in the folder too. All you have to run is one file; it will be called the installation file.
