Here you will find answers to questions that might come up prior to purchasing one of our programs.
If you book a demonstration or purchase, we don't receive all the information we need. Like your company name, the time zone you are in, the program you are most interested in, or the type of computer, Windows or a Mac, you will be using. We send you a one-time email with more information on your chosen program. We hate spam as much as you do.
We will never send you such emails, and we will never sell or communicate your email address to spammers. Please fill out the Contact Us Form if you have not done so. You can also add questions you might have on the form.
You must be familiar with how your Mac works. Our programs are Windows-based, but they can run just fine on a Mac with the proper software purchased and installed. For example, a Windows emulator like Parallels and Windows or Boot Camp. We have attached some links so you can review and decide. Some Macs now come with an emulator installed. Of course, we take no responsibility, liability, or support installing such programs. And it is your responsibility to purchase and install Windows properly on the Mac We do offer free support for our programs on a Mac computer.
Design on a small touch screen may be harder on your eyes, but you can always plug it into a larger monitor.
Tablets must be Windows-based and not an RT Version.
All our programs must have a full version of Windows.
Note: Tablets are getting smaller and smaller. Do you want to design on such a small screen? Tablets are also perfect for showing the client the final images.
For Apple iPads users:
Did you know the iPad won't run Windows or Mac software?
Option 1: You may consider purchasing a Windows PC laptop /Tablet combination; it is the best of both worlds. A small windows computer with a touch screen can fold back into a tablet. It is a workhorse with a keyboard and then flips back for presentations like a Tablet. And they cost less than an iPad most of the time.
OPTION 2: A virtualization with remote access setup (Remote Desktop). It's in the (iTunes) app store FREE. READ THIS! It lets you work with whatever programs you have on your Windows Computer directly on your iPad. Keep in mind changes you make will be saved to your Windows Computer.
Con: Must have an internet connection, and it is slower than using GreenScapes direct.
Option 3: TeamViewer is also free for personal use, which lets you remote into your desktop. Con: Must have an internet connection, and it is slower than using GreenScapes direct.
**Saving your final image as a . JPG and emailing or sending it to your iPad allows you to show the client!
The initial purchase for the company is for the first-named user only. The named user can install the program on two computers for their use only.
Second Users: Partners, brothers, additional designers, office managers, and sisters are second users for your company. We consider this and discount the other users by 50%. Only the named user will receive the registration info and support.
We do not transfer users' licenses if someone leaves the company. Instead, the new user must purchase a new license.
What if I purchase a new computer? From time to time, we do GreenScapes updates. So, you should check with us prior to using any old downloads or installing.
Once in the first two years after purchase, we deem it reasonable for a new computer and will replace one of the original licenses for that computer.
After two years, a small fee will cover our cost creating and sending a new download (which may have updates) and registering the new computer for $50.00. Use our Support Ticket, and we will review your account to see if any fees apply.
How do I purchase for a 2nd user in the company? Email Us with the Main Company info and the new user's First and Last Name, Phone, and Email. Then, we will send a link to purchase for the second user. After payment, we will send installation and register info.
Each program has the main page. The Pricing, Buy Now Button, and essential information on purchasing is usually toward to bottom of the page. Once you purchase a pdf file opens in a new tab. Save the file to your hard drive, where you can go back and follow all the instructions. Please be sure you filled out a Contact Us Form to get you into the system quickly. We will also email you an additional copy of the pdf with instructions.
The UAC blocks files written to your hard drive under program files. So, it blocks the programs from registration and making new libraries. So, you must TURN IT OFF before registering for your Program. NOTE: The "HIS" program registration happens during installation and will not need to be manually registered.

1. We have a Support FAQ page just for customers who already own the program.
2. Please be sure to watch all the training movies on your program. They are on the website as well as within the programs. In most cases, you will find your answer within the videos.

Sometimes, your questions are answered immediately by a simple return email or video tutorial.
